DESCRIPTION:
Lemuel Curtis reproduction Girandole wall clock. 8 days, time only, weight driven movement in a gold leafed mahogany case marked No. 3 with convex reverse painted throat and lower tablet depicting Boston City Wharf and Harbor. Convex painted dial signed "L. Curtis's Patent", movement and weight are stamped E. O. Stennes and the case is attributed to Ted E. Burleigh, c1973
CONDITION:
the case is in excellent original condition with flaking on one girandole ball. The unusual convex dial is in excellent condition and was signed and painted by Charles A. Jarvis, NAWCC #7703. The cast brass bezel with brass balls have tarnished (bezel probably by Stennes or Campos as Burleigh used wood bezels). Ht 44"
